Sharing is caring!

I just wanted to share a bit of real life (RL) happiness.  My characters have gotten some upgrades lately, and it was time for me to get some RL ones!  Thursday, my computer and monitor musta had a fight because they were no longer communicating with each other.  Which, of course, resulted in my misery more than theirs.  Sideshow, being the 24/7 tech support that he is for me, hooked up my old, smaller, less crisp monitor for the time being.  Needless to say, that just wasn't cuttin' it.  I dealt with it through Friday because there wasn't going to be enough time between the time I got off work and the start of our guild event for us to do any “fixin'” of any sort.

Saturday comes along, and with all the lovely dovey shtuff, I figure I might as well sweet talk Sideshow into going to Best Buy with me.  (One of the easiest quests evah!)  He easily agrees, especially since we have a bit of gold money set aside for some spendin'.  We pick me up a sweeeeet new monitor.  Mmm, 20″ widescreen.  Yup, it's a good day.  After I picked out my new monitor, I sweetly say, “It'd be worth upgrading my graphics card, too, while we're at it…. Right?”  Sideshow, being the wonderfully doting husband he is, agrees even though he knows he will be the one doing the actual work when we get home.

Ahhh, the world is larger, clearer, and more beautiful.

I just might have to go back to some dual-boxing!

Welcome

We are a family of gamers. Mom and Dad have been gaming for as long as they can remember back when you only had a joystick to use and saved your games to cassette tapes.

They've been gaming together since they met in 2002. Sometime after 2006, they both started playing World of Warcraft and did that for many years. They started this blog, originally called Sideshow & Syrana which has now transitioned to the new Stay-At-Home Gamers site, while keeping all of the original content.

Starting in 2010, two more gamers came along (now known as Princess Boo and Mr. X) and they are now old enough where they both enjoy playing games and watching others play games. They are both excited to have others to watch them play their favorite games. Come along with us and let's enjoy these games together!
