Generation 2: Aerissa, Xander(?) and Caleb
Xander followed Dixie's wishes and moved in with her and her father. What he didn't realize was that her father was a little… odd. Insane, actually.
Xander suddenly realized that he had never been to Dixie's home before. Or, at least, he hadn't thought the bunker was her home. He remembered walking her back here once, but he thought it was just where her father worked. Doubt started to creep into his mind, but one flash of a smile from her and it was gone.
Back at the Zalewski family compound, life went on as normal. At least, as normal as they could be for them. Caleb couldn't help but be secretly thrilled that his brother took off, now he had one whole trailer to himself! It was time to expand the workout room, were his thoughts. Darcy couldn't help but be concerned, she'd heard rumors about Dixie's crazy father. Darcy figured that Xander could take care of himself, though, and focused on assisting her daughter throughout her pregnancy.
During Aerissa's maternity leave, she threw herself into her painting. She was writing less and less these days, preferring the outlet painting provided her. Brenden's music career was also skyrocketing. He'd been noticed a few times and received raving reviews from the media. He went from playing in the park for a few coins to selling out the arena.
Aerissa couldn't help but become nervous about Brenden's fame. His crowd of adoring fans grew with each show and he was home less due to being on the road touring. Aerissa started to become fascinated with painting portraits. She painted one of Brenden and hung it in the main room of their trailer. The closer she got to her due date, the more obsessed she became with portraits. Aerissa started to annoy people whom she had just met, wanting to capture everyone on canvas.
Thankfully, Brenden was home for a few nights when Aerissa went into labor. He and Darcy rushed Aerissa to the hospital, where they were pleasantly surprised to find out that she delivered twins! Twin girls, named Syrana and Summer. There was some last minute purchases that had to be made before the babies could come home, since they'd only prepared the nursery for the arrival of one bundle of joy.
Aerissa decided to quit her job at the bookstore and focus on staying home to raise her girls. Brenden was earning more than enough money to support their family, but he was rarely home to help out. Aerissa also knew she could always make some extra cash from her paintings and writings, if needed. She was a very devoted and loving mother who spent large amounts of quality time with her girls. She even made sure that each of her daughters received their own special “alone” time with mommy.
Since Brenden couldn't be around to help and twins can be a handful, Aerissa was very greatful for her mother. Darcy had reached her senior years and decided to begin her retirement. As it was, the network didn't feel comfortable having her face on the nightly news anymore as it got harder to cover up the wrinkles. Darcy was content to work on her final novel that would be her masterpiece (or so she hoped) and help raise her grandbabies.
