Generation 2: Aerissa and Caleb
With Xander out of the house and living in a high security compound set up by his crazy father-in-law, no one in the Zalewski family really knew what he was up to anymore. Darcy tried not to worry about him too much and figured he'd come back if he couldn't handle things. Meanwhile, (during a period of no screenshots, apparently) after graduating high school Caleb started his climb up the athletic path. He started out as a team mascot and soon earned himself a spot on the team.
Brenden continued to perform live several nights a week, sometimes in town, but he was on the road a lot. His autograph sessions started to get out of control – fans trying to come away with handfuls of his hair and clothing. He did get the opportunity to meet with the president of his fan club. She was closer to his age than he had imagined… since he figured she'd be some little teenybopper. She was still a young, fresh face compared to him and Aerissa, but most certainly an adult.
Due to Brenden's crazy schedule, Aerissa didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with him when he was home. Any time they spent together was pretty much under the covers. So, it was no surprise that she was pregnant again before the twins learned how to walk. It was pretty exhausting for Aerissa to be pregnant and taking care of twins even with the help of her mother. Thankfully, while Brenden was home from a tour break, he and Darcy took care of the twins and allowed Aerissa to get some rest.
One of the things Brenden and Darcy worked on with the twin girls, was teaching them how to talk. They were both potty trained pretty quickly, but walking and talking was a more arduous task since they needed a great deal of individual attention for those things.
Baby Talk
Brenden teaches Summer “best friends” while Gramma Darcy teaches Syrana “drama, comedy, and tragedy.”
Brenden teaches Summer “trophy” while Gramma Darcy teaches Syrana “daisies in flowerpots.”
Brenden teaches Summer “swirling science symbols” while Gramma Darcy teaches Syrana “communication.”
Brenden teaches Summer “catching fish with a net” while Gramma Darcy teaches Syrana “empty podium.”
Syrana says “rocket” and Gramma Darcy confirms she is a bright little thing for catching on to the word “rocket” so quickly.
Brenden teaches Summer “band aid” while Syrana asks Gramma Darcy about “world globes.”
… hmm Syrana seems to be catching on to talking a little quicker than her twin, Summer. I wonder what her fascination with rockets and globes are though?
