Generation 2: Aerissa and Caleb

Aerissa seemed to be struck with great inspiration prior to giving birth.  It happened before the twins were born and it happened again on this night, before she went into labor with their son.  Brenden hoped that the painting meant their son was destined for great things.

After bringing baby Trenton home, Aerissa didn't care about anything except for sleep.  Brenden and Darcy took care of the babies so she could rest and heal.  After all 3 little ones were sound asleep, Brenden tried his hand at painting.  He was creative with a guitar after all, surely he could wield a brush too!

Except… he couldn't.

As the Chasseur family unit expanded, Caleb was busy tending to his own life.  He'd finally gotten to move up from being the Llamas mascot.  Unfortunately, he was letting his 15 minutes of fame go to his head.  The coach had noticed Caleb's dedication and extra hours in the gym, so when they needed a back up player, he called upon Caleb.

Caleb lucked out and assisted with the winning goal, thus being a hero for that game.  He quickly obtained an agent and has been negotiating his contract ever since.  Darcy tried to talk some sense into him, but he wouldn't listen.  All he could see were dollar signs.  He felt his athleticism was finally getting the attention it deserved.

He only wished he possessed more book knowledge when he spotted this young woman… so he could figure out what exactly she was protesting and use that to strike up a conversation.

  • I know I never comment on these (bad Rhii!) but I am following them with great interest.

My own Sims3 generation challenge is still in the first generation, Evangeline (my starter sim) just married her partner Hal (a match made at the police station) and maybe they’ll have a baby soon!

  • Just so you know, I HAD to enlarge the protester photo to see what was on the sign. Because to me it didn’t look like a sea monster at all and … well…yeah.

  • @Rhii – Glad you are enjoying these, they are quite fun to write! Oooh, I hope you are blessed with many babies soon. 🙂 It was weird going from controlling only a few sims to 8 then back down to 2. I actually preferred controlling 8! >.< @Kim - Hahaha I hadn't even thought of it looking like that, since I saw everything more closeup as I went through screenies! 😛 I'm not sure what'd Caleb would do if she WAS protesting ... that. haha

Welcome

We are a family of gamers. Mom and Dad have been gaming for as long as they can remember back when you only had a joystick to use and saved your games to cassette tapes.

They've been gaming together since they met in 2002. Sometime after 2006, they both started playing World of Warcraft and did that for many years. They started this blog, originally called Sideshow & Syrana which has now transitioned to the new Stay-At-Home Gamers site, while keeping all of the original content.

Starting in 2010, two more gamers came along (now known as Princess Boo and Mr. X) and they are now old enough where they both enjoy playing games and watching others play games. They are both excited to have others to watch them play their favorite games. Come along with us and let's enjoy these games together!
