If you are just joining us or looking for a refresher: Part 1, Part 2.
Generation 1: Darcy and Brian (continued)
Before Darcy and Brian knew it, their little girl had blossomed into a young child. She continued to exhibit a sharp intelligence and an eye for art. Aerissa seemed to enjoy reading almost as much as her mother and they would often chat about books. Aerissa started to ask her mother about writing her very own novel. Darcy, who continued to write novels and other articles in her spare time outside of her journalism career, encouraged Aerissa with enthusiasm.
It wasn't long before Darcy had to request more time off of work again. Her and Brian were expecting their 3rd child. Brian, being family orientated, was very excited about the news. He oohed and ahhed over Darcy's tummy. Darcy's boss didn't seem too pleased, but was required to allow her time off with pay.
Darcy knew the time off wouldn't be a cakewalk though. She still had little Xander zoomin' around the house, getting into everything. He was quiet but curious. Plus, there were the backaches, exhaustion, and swollen… everything. At least it would give her an excuse to go to the spa. Oh, how they gave lovely massages! Darcy also planned to use this time to finish yet another novel.
The newest arrival to the Zalewski household was a little boy named Caleb. Thankfully, shortly after the new baby came, Brian received another promotion at work. Unfortunately, Darcy was too occupied with the children to do much in the way of celebration. She expressed the urgency and importance of remodeling their home to accomodate their three children. They made due as long as they could while Brian made the necessary calls to get the work done.
Brian and Darcy decided to throw a party at their home. Aerissa felt it was like a late birthday party for her, and her parents didn't want to correct her otherwise on the matter. Xander mostly ignored the guests for his drawing table. He continued to show a strong interest in art, just like Aerissa. Darcy enjoyed showing off the newly remodelled childrens' rooms to their party guests.
After about an hour or so into the party, Aerissa retreated to her room to paint. It was the first painting she'd ever completed. Aerissa seems sullen after completing it. Perhaps she had hoped for a baby sister?

You are giving me the Sims Itch. This is a recognised condition.
It leads to short term madness and, indeed, mania, obsession, hysteria.
And then fades away without warning leaving ne’re a trace behind.
