I admit, I'm a visual person. Detail, colors, images, etc. are things I pay a lot of attention to. Now, I'm not saying that stunning graphics make or break a game, but if it's not visually appealing to me…. it's going to be a hard sell. For those interested in checking out these virtual vacation photos, please do so after the cut. :) Oh and to check out my two spirit pets. (Of course I'm playing a Spiritmaster, it's the closest thing to a Warlock!)

And while I was playing with the camera angle and hiding the UI, I hid a very important thing: my flight timer. Shortly after capturing this picture, I crashed to my death as my wings gave out. >.<
So, my fire spirit I was able to train, but the wind spirit must be learned from a skill manual that drops from these majestic wolf-like creatures. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance last night to try and do that, but found someone selling one for a decent-ish price. (I say decent because I had plenty o' gold kinah, but no clue what it'd normally sell for.) I think it's safe to say, this will be my favorite spirit – I mean, just look at him!

Yeah, I never got my wind spirit when I beta’ed as a SM. I’m totally going SM live though and it’s gonna be a little blasty.
I think there will be several SM’s in our legion, from the sounds of it. 😛 So I’m probably going to have to work a bit harder to get my hands on it when it goes live.
What did I have to do with this post?
=p
Wow, the graphics looks pretty good. Wondering if my computer can even handle it… I might need to upgrade me thinks.
@Sam – *sigh*
@Haydies – Your computer probably can handle it, but I’m glad I upgraded my videocard not too long ago. 😀
@Haydies Yeah, if you can run WoW at even medium-low settings, you can run Aion. Even at low settings, the game is gorgeous.
Just wait until I get some screens up from my new PC. O.O
Cool, thanks for the info guys. Yeah PC ran WoW no problem. At worst I can always just use my laptop as that runs Sims 3 at full strength.
Might be a good excuse to upgrade my PC anyway lol.
Btw, how do I get a cool Gravatar?
@Haydies – Go to http://www.gravatar.com 😀
Yeah, it defaulted mine to pretty high settings and it runs almost flawlessly. I have my WoW settings somewhat high, not max, and I still get noticeably choppy framerates in some places, specifically Dragonblight and Grizzly Hills due to the massive amounts of trees and branches, it seems.
[…] about Aion from others and really liked what I heard. I checked up on it, and saw it was a very good looking game. But I needed to know it was more than just looks. During the open beta testing, I was […]
